316 MEZE & WINE BAR
“316 is a wine bar experience located in Istanbul, Turkey. It has adopted the Minimize–Reuse–Recycle philosophy and took its name from stainless steel scraps. It was founded by a group of people with appetite coming together under the same roof, who feels comfortable drinking wine any hour of the day and are happy to smell the fresh herbs of the season or fried eggplants."
While designing the visual identity of 316, the main theme we put in the center was precisely the paragraph above. The logo we designed is formed by transforming a leaf, representing the naturalness that 316 focuses on, becoming one with a wineglass. 316 logo is completed with geometrically-created numbers and a fluid family of compatible fonts that also break the flatness of geometry. The chosen color palette is reminiscent of wine types and appetizers, emphasizing naturalness with warm but earthy tones.

“316, ismini geri dönüşüm dilinde ‘paslanmaz çelik hurdası’ndan alan, Nişantaşı’nda kurulmuş olan ve Azalt–Yeniden Kullan–Geri Dönüştür felsefesini benimsemiş bir ‘şarap barı’ deneyimi. Günün her saatine köpüklü şarap yakıştıran, kızarmış patlıcan veya mevsimindeki taze otların kokmasından mutlu olan, iştahlı bir topluluğun, tek bir çatı altında buluşması ile kuruldu.”
316'nın görsel kimliğini tasarlarken merkeze koyduğumuz ana fikir, tam olarak üstteki paragraf oldu. Tasarladığımız amblem, 316'nın odağına aldığı doğallığı anlatan bir yaprak ve şarap kadehinin tek bir forma dönüşmesinden oluşuyor. 316 logosu, geometrik olarak oluşturduğumuz '316' rakamları ve onunla uyumlu fakat salt geometrinin monotonluğunu kıran akışkan bir font ailesi ile tamamlanıyor. Seçilen renk paleti ise şarap türlerini ve mezeleri anımsatıp, aynı zamanda sıcak fakat toprak tonlarla doğallığa da vurgu yapmayı sürdürüyor.
